ACF Fiorentina is commonly referred to as «Fiorentina» ([fjorenˈtiːna]) or just Florence’s team. s an Italian professional football club based in Florence that competes at the top level of Serie A. The saga began in 1923 when a group of young Florentine men decided that they wanted to support their hometown football club by changing its colors from red and blue jerseys into something more distinct — purple! By the way, the Fiorentina jersey is really fantastic. Since then this outfit has gone on an incredible journey through history having won two championships while losing less than 10 games every season (1968–69).
